How to generate auto number for php? For example, every time I submit the details to another page, the number will add from 10001 to 10002. Thank you.

I use oracle as my backend database, then how to increase the number if I press the submit button? For example, the ID now is 10002, when I click on the submit button, the number will be increased from 10002 to 10003 and store in the database. When I enter the page again, the ID now is 10003. That would need to be set up in the database.

When you have your table setup make the column that you want to increment by 1 every time be a "auto increment" - don't know the correct word for the Oracle implementation

checkout "autonumber". I know some databases use that as a data type, I don't know about Oracle though.
