Hi ho,
I'm sure most of us have seen or tried out these mailing list scripts whereby people sign up and their email goes onto a MySQL database (and you can then post one email out that goes to everyone on the list).
Anyway, I notice that in the books I've checked out so far, the authors keep stressing that these programs are very limited with regards to the amount of email addresses they can handle.
I was just wondering if anyone could elaborate on this.
Some questions I have are;
Why is it limited?
What is the limit before these programs start freaking out? (100? 1,000? 10,000?)
What exactly happens when you go over this limit?
Are there any good ways of getting around the problem?
If anyone could answer any of these questions then I'd be mega grateful.
Thanks!
