stopping HTML input

Hi There,

There maybe a simple solution to this, but how to i stop html being processed? The reason being i am making a coding forum so i want the html the customer types in the text box to show up, not ruin my page!!

Any help would be great,

use strip_tags()

you can also use htmlentities() which doesnt remove the tags but instead render them as text.
