Is it true that in PHP 4.3.2 a variable registered in a session can't be updated in a form? As far as I know it was no problem in older versions. If yes, what the best solution to overcome this?
i don't see why it wouldn't, do you have a link to documentation that says that
No, I don't have that documentation, but I experienced it. May be it is an other issue, which has to do with the serverupgrade from my provider. But if I know this is not the issue than I can look for other things.

A) Before the serverupgrade, incl. upgrade to PHP 4.3.2, it worked fine. 😎 I changed the name of the varible in the form and store that new variable in the session variable. Then it works fine.
Could you be having a register_globals problem after the upgrade?
