I need to know the control character for "space"?
eg: the control character for next line is \n and the control character for tab is \t

I am almost certain there is none, just put in a " ", but this may be of use HTML's is

I think a literal space should be fine, but maybe you're looking for a rawurlencoded space, as in "%20" ?

Or a PHP-escaped space? \x20 or \040? (I'm getting these from here, by the way, 'cos I also just use " ".

html only displays one space before ignoring...

to display a set amount of spaces you can just use "*nbsp;" as many times as you want. ( replcae the star with "&".. it was just displaying a space when i tried it hehe )

or just use some stylesheets.
