Creating a members area

I've got a registration and login script that work well, but now I want to go a step further.

Let's say my site is for my employees. When they login, I want them to be able to see the number of vacation and sick days they have left and what work they have to do today. Does anyone know of a code out there for this?

where did u find out how to do a login and registration page cause i really want 1

I found it at http://www.beanbug.net/

It was either vSignup or vAuthenticate. (I couldn't get one to work so I tried the other.) Make sure you read the instructions.

Here's an outstanding article on using PHP sessions to manage users: http://www.sitepoint.com/article/319 I suggest reading it. I also would suggest coding your own if you have the time. You don't truly learn anything if you go with prebuilt stuff. Again, it's an outstanding article. Read.. learn.. code.

What I would suggest doing is creating a mySQL Database which has every employee's information in it, then have a simple login form that does a select from the table where their username/password is correct, then displays the information.
