When i enter a correct username the page just reloads doing nothing. Also the mail() function doesnt seem to work either is there anything wrong with that?

but for question2.
Do you have an SMTP Server set up. If not your gonna have to live with those mail errors. Or put an @ sign in front of it.

nope globals are set to on. I think its to do with isset($submit) but i cant find anything.
