I'm a site administrator and I want to send an email to all my registered users.

I want to know how do I send let's say 5000 emails from php ??

For this number of emails, it's best to get PHP to insert the emails into a database table, and then have a seperate process (maybe a perl program) that runs every 5 minutes and send 100 emails at a time

This will avoid massive loads on your mail server...
