[Resolved] <?php working, <? displaying source code.

Hi,

I have a farly simple box with Redhat 7.2, Apache 1.3 and PHP (3 AND 4 (I think) )

My problem is, if a script is using <?php php?> tags it works fine, however if it uses <? ?> all I get is the source code in my browser window.

I know this must have been asked a lot of time before but, I searched and could find a threads on it.

Can anyone help?

Theres a line "short_open_tag" in php.ini. Set it to on and your pages parse also codes inside <? ?>

Remember to restart the server after changing the php.ini.
