Aggghhh Amazon

Has anyone had any problems with Amazon (.co.uk or .com) ? Either in ordering their products, sending them back, getting the one you sent back returned to you as new, or refund troubles ??

Just as a straw poll.....

As I have sent the same item back 4 times (and I am sure I have had the same one back from them !) and not getting much headway in receiving a refund as yet....

Just wondered if anyone else had seen this side of them ?

Sorry, dude- I've had nothing but good experiences with them, and I buy a lot there. My only complaint is that they do not provide a phone number ANYWHERE on the site so you don't have the option to speak with a real live human being if you do have problems or questions.

But other than that I think they're ok.

Just for the fun of it - put Amazon Complaints in google, and see what you get.... (just a couple of sites)

Yeah - I found it once on the UK site, but I can't anymore... think they have taken it off now ! LOL

Not that it did much good, the amount of bad/wrong/misleading/incorrect information I was given, from both "normal" people and supervisors was pheonomenal... but hey ho.. nearly at the end and they have (hopefully) nearly refunded my money ("in 3-5 working days sir") - even though this is what they said at the end of June (more than 3-5 days ? I think so) but anyway I won't get started again......

I've also never had any probs with them. Occasionally I have to wait a couple of days for them to get the item in stock, but apart form that, nothing.

Elizabeth, take a look at your invoice next time you order something. There should be a number on that.

They do have a number on all the UK ones, but the American one doesn't have anumber you can call at all... a problem that has been stated over and over again by annoyed people...

Amazon is good. I haven't had a bad experience with them. Now all we have to do is wait for them to go out of business.

No, but it's a wonder Amazon is making any money. First of all, they try to sell stuff at reduced prices. They're actually not making much profit off what they sell. They make some profit off advertising, but not much. If people just stop wanting to but stuff off the internet, Amazon will go out of business. I don't want that to happen, though.

I'll try to have a positive outlook in the future...
