php install problem, with imap

i have installed imap correctly, telnet localhost 143 works well

here is netstat -vat

but when i configure php,system always tell me the err msg:
checking whether IMAP works... no
configure: error: build test failed. Please check the config.log for details.

nearly go mad.it boring me several days,thx to everybody which pay attention to my prob,need ur help.

Hi,

hard to imagine what might be wrong. What configure switches did you use ? Which IMAP server do you use ? And examine config.log, it will contain some lines that show you what might be wrong. In some cases the problem that configure tells you might be caused by something else, examining the config.log file is the best way to find a solution. Post the config.log so I can see what might be wrong 🙂
