Learing PHP

Hi All,

I would like to start of by saying thanks to all the help I have all ready had from you guys.

I have been playing around with PHP, mostly using built in dream weaver functionality. I am at the stage now where I really like the language and would like to learn the language so that I don't need to use dream weaver to write the code for me. Heres the question then. I learn best by working through examples and was wondering if anyone out there could recommend a site, book, whatever, with such tutorial. I have bought a PHP book, but they way it is structured is by just showing loads of functions etc, but actually demonstrating them in practical examples.

well php.net helps alot like you search for a function to help you and they show examples on how to use it.. Look at some books just look thru them and see if they show and explain the coding the eaisest to you.

Beginning PHP4 by Wrox I found to be very good with plenty of examples. However, they do use register_globals on which I later came unstuck on so watch out for that
