MAC OS X vs Linux Hosting

I just wanted to ask whether hosting a site on MAC os X would be as efficient and secure as any Linux box.

It would be just as efficient and just as secure, as Mac OS X is essentially FreeBSD, which is a unix-based operating system similar to linux. Its very secure and fast, and if you use os 10 server then administering it is a dream come true 🙂

have you seen the admin tools for OS X? they are awesome
