i have a search form that searches records in a database and i was wondering what you guys do to filter the $query variable that's inputted by the user from the search form?
i'd like to know specific codes to filter the variable so it won't mess up any php codes including mysql_query's and printing html on the page...and possibly any security issues if a certain filter isn't set...thanks...
