Hello there,
My website contains a mailinglist, with about |MANY| subscriptions. Now I want to tune the mailingscript, making it as quickly as possible. Therefore I want PHP to open an mailconnection. Default, when you send a mail message, php uses sendmail. But I want to get rid of sendmail, and send the message manualy. So, somehow I need to open port 25 (SMTP) and pump the message throug it 😉
Anybody experienced in this process??
