PHP and IngressII?

Hi,

I'm running PHP together with IngresII fine under Linux. But I have not found a way to use it with Windows. I've checked that PHP 4.3 and PHP 5 no longer have the php_ingres.dll extension. Therefore I assume Ingres support is not available under Windows??? Any help is welcome!

Have you tried compiling php under windows? With IngressII installed there? That might be what's necessary. Just guessing.

If you can't get it to work, Postgresql is Ingress' long lost country cousin that cleans up pretty good nowadays. :-)

I'm already using Postgresql for the website, but the legacy database is Ingres .. can't change that though..I've never compiled PHP under Windows, only under Linux.

Then you might wanna try just using ODBC to connect to IngressII. Not sure about helping in Windows, I only run flavors of Unix nowadays (Linux and BSD).
