Does anybody know how I can find who owns the IP address "66.166.232.131"?

A crawler or something has been making hundreds of hits on my small web site today. Typically, my web site only gets a few visitors per day.

Right here is what one line looks like in the log file:

66.166.232.131 - - [09/Jul/2003:00:10:23 -0700] "GET / HTTP/1.1" 200 1568 "-" "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.5; AOL 7.0; Windows 98)" "www.theknoxvillelibertarian.com"

I think that it may be a spammer trying to collect email addresses.

    apache's logresolve program said that IP belongs to:

    h-66-166-232-131.SNVACAID.covad.net

    which sounds like a box on cable modem. It's just as likely to be rooted windows box that the guy who owns it doesn't even know he's infected.

    Just report it to covad...
