syntax error in php/apache install ...

cannot load C:\php\sapi\php4apache.dll into server: the specified module could not be found.

i'm installing apache/mysql/php(4) on my windows xp machine. the install went well until I restarted my server. can anyone identify why i got the above message? the php4apache.dll file is in the c:\php\sapi\ folder.

Did you copy php4ts.dll to the system32 folder ? Did you use the msi or the zip php package ?

Yes ... I had installed Apache 2 initially with the latest version of MySQL and PHP4. I uninstalled everything, and installed Apache 1.3 with the latest revs of MySQL/PHP. Works great now.

If you want to use php with Apache 2 you have to use

C:\php\sapi\php4apache2.dll

instead of

C:\php\sapi\php4apache.dll
