Completely and utterly perplexed with this one...
I'm running RH9, PHP 4.2.2 on Apache. ftp is enabled for PHP in compile and in php.ini, however, trying to fopen to an ftp URL is kicking back this error opening in READ mode..
$contents = fopen("ftp://user:pass@localhost/.forward", "r");
Warning: File not found in /var/www/html/test2.php on line 46
Warning: fopen("ftp://...@/.forward", "r") - No such file or
directory in /var/www/html/test2.php on line 46
Otherwise I can normally ftp in to localhost and perform these functions.
It's a production server so we're kinda sketchy about upgrading PHP -- although I'd LOVE to use the ftp file contents function... ;p
Any suggestions?
