Registering Sub-Domains

I have a paid web host and reseller account, and can make sub domains that i can reidrect to any site i want from my host control panel. eg: www.something.domain.com and i can use that to make a url of any website i want and redirect it to that.

I want my site users to be able to come to my site and register there own free sub domain at my site automatically from my site in my layout, not my host control panel.

This system is basically the same as www.shorturl.com.

Could anyone please give me suggestions on how to do this, if there is a way ;\

I gave you a tip at one of your other posts... I can't remember which one though since you posted this same thing in a whiole bunch of forums (bad ettiquette)

Anyhow, what you want exists at hotscripts.com

There are some server settings that need to be addressed I think, but I am not 100% sure.

and i replied to that post sayin i was sorry, and asking you where exactly at hotscripts i find it since there are millions of scripts, a lot of categories, and in each category a lot more sub categories for php, your advice didnt help that much,

To be honest with you, I didn't intend for it to be that helpful. You know, one bad ettiquette technique to another.

OK, coming off the soapbox now... I don't remember anymore. I spent a few hours looking for this exact same thing for a site I developed, and finally found it, but I remember it took a while to find it.

Try doing searches there for things like "short URL", "URL redirect", "subdomain", etc...

You should be able to find one pretty easily.

At a quick glance, I searched in the php category for "subdomain" and I found one called "myLoungeRedirection" there, but I don't think I should post the URL... Not sure if that's cool to do or not.

Anyhow, good luck with this.
