Hi,
I try to install PHP with OCI support, to access the Oracle DB, but I'm allready four days unsuccessful. I'm Linux beginner, so I found a step-by-step howto (http://staff.in2.hr/denis/oracle/817install_rh73_en.html), to know what I need to do to install Oracle on Linux machine.
I swear 🙂 I did everything what was written in that howto. I launched Universal Installer, that was ok. I selected the source and the destination paths and clicked NEXT. But no new screen appeared. It seemed installator freezed. The pilot-light of my hardisk blinked shortly per every 2 seconds, but no other process was running.
Had anyone this problemm? Please help.
I don't need to install Oracle DB Server. I need only files that needs PHP, to be compiled with OCI support.
