im tend to be using many include's for some pages of my site, sometimes over 5, is that a low, or high number in comparisen, and is this actualy good practice ?
Imho, I think it is good practice. It is easier to universally change and view component files than it is to change individual sections of every document. Encapsulation is the key. Once PHP 5 comes out with greater object-orientation, this breaking-up of code should become a lot more commonplace.
object orientated php ?! righttt.
thanks for the info.😉
Just using includes doesnt make your code objected oriented, it makes it more modular.
let me rephrase that : what the fuck is object orientated php ?! object orientated vb, sure, but php ?!
PHP has some support for classes.
Read the PHP manual for more information.
modular = encapsulation
and i said greater object orientation. full object-orientation like in java is crap in my opinion.
yep, my reply wasnt to you.
though modular doesnt quite mean encapsulation the way OOP uses encapsulation, IMO.
i'm sorry if i came off rude, and you may be right, i'm not too keen anymore on terms.
