Security and logon question ...

Hi ... here's my situation !

I've got many form (50+) that some user (100+) fill on my demand.

When I want a user fill a form, i've got an interface that gave show me all the form and there i can assign a form to any of the user.

But, all the user have a user/pass to log on my site and when they are log, they have all an unique interface that show the form list they have to fill.

So there are many username and password to control and i want to know what the best way to secure my site when user log on ???

What I would do is to make another table besides your form and users table like form_users. In form_users, you would have a field referring to a users id (usernames could be changed?) and then a field referring to the form id and another status field. The status field could be something like ("Open"=>meaning user hasn't filled in the form,"Closed"=>meaning user already filled out the form)

So, then you could create a script that allowed you to link the form_ids and users_ids and mark the status as open so that the user can submit and answer the form. Once the users submits the form, the script would update the database and say their status was "Closed".
