[Resolved] order points

hmm i wish i know how to explane it

i have table with a list of players (sport players) everyone have a rate users add lets me give u an example

Ronaldo 1.4

recoba 10

vieri 3

ronaldo 10

owen 9

recoba 2

as u see there is some players written more then onice with same (id)

i want to list these players in order of the points they have ronaldo for example here have (1.4 + 10 ) points so he have 11.4 points
i want to list them like this

ronaldo 10.4

recoba 12

owen 9

vieri 3

i was think doing count in the sql query will help but it dont
is there way ? plz help

it is ok guys i look at the forum archive and i find how to do it
i use (SUM) and i use group also in the query
it works
