Subitting problem

I made a new block to put all of my pages i made into a Navigation Block. But when i enter all of the codes and then Hit Create Block, it automatically goes to "Page Cannot be displayed"😕 . I dont have a clue what is wrong and its really starting to bug me. If its anything to do with my Internet Explorer then please tell me what it is so i can fix it.

how are you accessing the variables when you get to that page, likely you may need to access them with $_GET['variablename']

when you click on this one for instance

you obviously have a case or if statement in there to tell which one you have chosen like

if $name=Your_Account do something else

so instead of $name use $_GET['name']

well, i guess if you created all this stuff, you should in the least be able to understand what a variable name is

i didnt, i only know how to put images into my FTP, i didnt set up my config.php files, my friend had to help me, he doesnt know why when i click on 'Save Changes' or 'Create block' it sometimes comes up "Page Cannot be displayed". i just dont know any more

do you know if register_globals = On or Off

make a page, call it info.php with only the following in it and ftp it to your server:

<? phpinfo(); ?>

then navigate to that page and look down the list for register_globals and tell me if they are On or Off

where is register_globals? and what is it?

do you have this on a local machine or is it hosted somewhere

register_globals is set in your php.ini (the php config file)

by the way, i went to your site and clicked around on your nav and never seemed to get a could not be displayed error

m8, its when u are editing or making it!!!! thats what im trying to tell you. whenever i click "Submit" it says page cannot be displayed error, it does it every time i clikc submit on that particular block, ive tried copying and pasting it into a new block, but it does the same thing. My friend had to submit it, i sent him the codes so that he can submit it.

All i wanna know is why its saying PAGE CANNOT BE DISPLAYED on me? and not on my friend

editing or making the nav? if so check the action="" in the form tag make sure you know where it is going and make sure there is a page called wherever it is pointing to

you are gonna have to look into the code and see where the action of the form tag is pointing and make sure it is going to the right place, maybe your friend can check it out since you aren't sure where to look and/or don't know what code to paste, or maybe have your friend hop on here and maybe he can post some code and help us help you more

i don't know everything since i haven't seen the appropriate code, there are many things that could be wrong, and you aren't showing me the code when you hit submit and such, i am going home for the day, but if you could get him on here tomorrow around 9 oclock central time (US) i'll try and help again
