anyone can tell to me, why this constant dont work with I.E, and the alternative solution for that?

That code is serverside, so it doesnt really concern I.E.

Your alternative is using sessions.

As a note, sessions may use cookies to pass the session, so make sure its being passed through the URL.

Also, are you setting the cookie? Are you aware that the cookie won't be registered until the next page you visit ( ie NOT available on the page you set the cookie on ) What parameters are you setting the cookie with ( some browsers don't like certain parameters ) Are you sure you're setting it with a valid time? What version of IE?
