GD library with MySQL problem..

I had MySQL (ver 3.2.... I guess) installed with PHP version 4.3.
I downloaded the latest PHP ver (4.3.2) somedays ago, for the sake of running GD and installed it over the existing copy of PHP.

Then my "browscap.ini" went missing and I was unable to work with MySQL (phpMyAdmin).
Somehow I found the 'browscap' and replaced it and MySQL was fine again.

But then....
The GD library that ran perfect before this wasn't working at all.

Any Suggestions??? 😕
