hi...my company makes email templates for people to use to help promote their business. its just a more effective way of getting people to respond to them and they look far nicer than plain text emails. what they want me to figure out is if there is a way to track how many emails the person has been sending out and how many emails the recipients have been opening. click through rates have been solved already. however...we must do this through outlook or outlook express. i have noticed that the links that we put on the template using hotspots do not actually link in outlook when you are creating an email. however after it is sent they become active. so i was wondering if we could somehow check wether the link works and thus distinguish between opening and creating an email. does this explain what i am trying to do? if not please tell me what you do not understand and i can explain it in a more detailed way. any help would be appreciated.
thanks
