connnection time out...

i have windows XP machines on a LAN and one of the computers is acting funny. After booting up and logging on this annoying timeout box comes up...

Connection timeout... error 10060

It continues to pop up every 20 seconds and will not stop unless I unplug the ethernet cord. What is causing this timeout error? It connects to the internet and email just fine. There isn't any other server it is trying to connect to. Does anyone know how I can shut this box off or fix this problem...?

try turning off any firewall software and try it again, this is a common problem with Internet Connection Shares that has its own built-in firewalls

I did a system restore and that seemed to stop the popup timeout error. If it comes back i'll disable the firewall next.
