Re Start PHP

after i change the php.ini file how do I get php to use the new setting without restarting my computer, I am using WindowsXP pro IIS

You should only need to restart the IIS service. Go into your Start Menu > Programs > Administrative Tools > Services. Then I think you look for 'World Wide Web Publishing Service', right click and choose restart. I think that should do the trick, I use Apache so I don't know if those directions are exacly right.
