Hey everyone im new here, i want to setup a site (its nothing illegal or a scam of any kind) its a multi level marketing system, where people can signup and then refer others to the system, once they fill a certain amount of levels i will give them a reward worth alot more than the small signup fee.

Well i have looked around for like 3 days now and found loads of mlm scripts but all at ludicrous prices, im a student and have no funds at all, i was wondering if anyone knows any free scripts or would be kind enough to develop one for me, my friend says it isnt that hard....

The basic idea is (for those who dont know mlm) you signup through a form, details are put into a database and a page is automatically created for your account. The address would look like http://website.com/member.php?referall=3434 or something, this number would be your referall number, so if anyone joins through that page it adds them under your name in the database. When you have a certain amount of people under your name a email is dispatched including a reward code which you can use to claim your prize.

Well if anyone can help me anyway shape or form possible please let me know, thanks for your time..goodday. Rob.

That's because MLM is a money-making scam. Nobody at the lower branches makes any money. You won't find any free scripts because the whole idea is for lower branches like you and me to give our money to people above us and never get any money back.

Not all MLM s are illegal. It is a good concept based on "Leveraging Time". In any business, Business owners will Make more money. Then People under him ie. Directors of the Company, Then Top level managers will get paid below the owner of the company. When the hierarchy goes down, income also goes down. Any one can Go up there is no restriction except their ability in the business activities. Like wise MLM is also a company of different people in different levels, Top people get paid more than downline people. It is Good when compared to conventional systems of Business. I am also in search of a free scripts for MLM. if any Knows please help me

Sounds like a very, very simple application. Instead of spending time searching for pre-made scripts, it would be much better to read PHP/MySQL tutorials and develop your own.

Really, all you're doing is storing user details in a database. Add a referrer ID to the MySQL table, and then a simple query will count the number of referrals a person has.

The question that has to be asked when determining legality is "where does the money come from"?

I dont really know much about MLM, though it certainly always seems "scammy" - ive heard those offers for ipods when you get 10 people to sign up and they sign up 10 people who sign up 10 people etc. do actually payout if you can ever pull it off...but its hard to do.

anyway, to answer your question i went over to Codango and had a look...theyve got a few scripts for free and some others at affordable prices.....and than there are some at extravagant prices as well...

If youve got the skills or drive, making your own would be best - than you have FULL control of your profits 😃

good luck...seems a lil risky but I hope it works out for you

All MLMs are not Scam. Amway is a an example of a Good MLM. Skybiz.com was a scam. What is a MLM ?

FTC(Federal Trade Commission) suggests that you use common sense, and consider these seven tips when you make your decision:

              1. Avoid any plan that includes commissions for recruiting additional distributors. It may be an illegal pyramid.
              2. Beware of plans that ask new distributors to purchase expensive inventory. These plans can collapse quickly -- and also may be thinly-disguised pyramids.
              3. Be cautious of plans that claim you will make money through continued growth of your "downline" -- the commissions on sales made by new distributors you recruit -- rather than through sales of products you make yourself.
              4. Beware of plans that claim to sell miracle products or promise enormous earnings. Just because a promoter of a plan makes a claim doesn't mean it's true! Ask the promoter of the plan to substantiate claims with hard evidence.
              5. Beware of shills -- "decoy" references paid by a plan's promoter to describe their fictional success in earning money through the plan.
              6. Don't pay or sign any contracts in an "opportunity meeting" or any other high-pressure situation. Insist on taking your time to think over a decision to join. Talk it over with your spouse, a knowledgeable friend, an accountant or lawyer.
              7. Do your homework! Check with your local Better Business Bureau and state Attorney General about any plan you're considering -- especially when the claims about the product or your potential earnings seem too good to be true.
