Session Cookies

I need to create a login page that uses session cookies. If you're alredy logged in then it will recognize that on the main page. If you're not, then you can go to a login page and once you login it will kick you back to the main page. It has to use session cookies then. It integrates with vBulletin so if you're already logged into the forums then you don't need to login at the main page and if you aren't then you may either login via the login page or the forums.

i have created a login that supports VBulletin, however, i have not done the cookies part.

it's not a 1-2-3 process i don't think though.

But look at the VB files.. and also very important, what version of VB are you running?

beucase the whole login process changes drastically from 2.30 to 3.0 Beta 4...

i upgraded to 3.0 Beta 4(really great btw) 2 nights ago and my home login got really screwed up... i had to fix that one.

i suggest upgrading first.

Currently it's 2.3.0 but will be v3.0.0 soon enough. I just need something that I can use that will work with session cookies.

check www.vbulletin.org for help with that one then 🙂 ask them and someone will be assist you i'm sure.

or if you want get a mod called the "Template Hack" (this is for V2.30 though).
