subdomains... and mail server...

ok I know this is doable via PHP...

now my question is.. i know how to create a folder and all that but don't you have to make the subdomain entry before the folder is made? or is that at the same time?

basically i want to offer people subdomains of my site for a certian fee. Nothing major, but i need the script upon payment receival of a confirmation e-mail to create his info based on variables entered into a database... the database part i can do easily. but how do I make an ftp account via php? and how do I make the subdomain?

is that possible?

as for mail.. it's a pop3 mail server and I would want people to be able to pay me and just have the e-mail on payment receival like above....

i have searched for both on here extensively...

and i will continue to do so and go to the manual somemore too.

Just looking ofr some pointers...

I just did it...by hand. If you had a script to automatically make sub-domain folders, you'd have a million people in a million folders leaving you zero space yourself. This is best done manually so you know what's going on thru your control panel....And I seriously doubt if anyone will pay you for a pop3 account...😃

lol, ya pop3 is gonna probably come with the website. 🙂

anyway, thanks alot. i agree. I will set up paypal and a database for info and records and do the work myself.
