[Resolved] how do I enable/disable popups?

I know this is probably an easy one, but I've never done it before!

Right now I have a computer that when you click on a button (on a website) that opens a new browser window, the window doesn't open. The browser window that's open just flashes for a sec and then goes back to normal.

Is this a popup issue? How do I resolve it?

First, this is not at all a PHP question, so this is probably not an appropriate place to be asking this... However there could be many reasons this is happining.
there are many browsers that will auto block popups for you if enabled... there are also programs out there that will "catch" popups and close them... because your browser is flashing, this is most likly the case. often times these types of programs will be installed on your machine along with other programs you download "for free" I reccomend running a program like adaware http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/ and uninstalling any unnessisary programs you have on your computer
