help with mail()

The email seems to be sending but the messege doesn't send. The subject sends fine. Is the messege formated right? I was a little unsure on how to formate it.

$address = $email; 
$subject = "Welcome To StudentsView.com"; 
$messege = "Welcome To StudentsView.com\n\You are now a registered member of StudentsView.com. Please keep this email for your records. Your account information is as follows:\n\nUsername: " . $user . "\nPassword: " . $pass . "\nPlease do not forget your password as it has been encrypted in our database and we cannot retrieve it for you. However, should you forget your password you can request a new one which will be activated in the same way as this account./n/nClick here to activate your account [url]http://www.studentsview.com/register.php?mode=activate&key=[/url]" . $key . "./n/n/n Thanks,/nThe StudentsView.com Staff";

send_email($address, $subject, $message);

Here is the function if needed

function send_email($address, $subject, $message){ 
   mail("$address", "$subject", "$messege"); 
}

Sorry about the long line. That is how it is viewed in the script.

what's the point of creating a new function that does exactly what an existing function already does? You declared a function that's sole purpose is to run another function. Why not just call that other function directly?

Anyways, that's where your problem lies. Look closely at your function definition

function send_email($address, $subject, $message){  

   mail("$address", "$subject", "$messege");  

}

you spell the message variable two ways: $message (with an a) and $messege (with an e). Just a typo.
