[Resolved] Allways round up

Hi is there a way to make sure that a valude is allways rounded up i kow you can obviously add a small value to a .5 to make sure it allways rounds up but i need a value to all ways be rounded up even if its say 5.1

any ideas

echo ceil(4.3); // 5
echo ceil(9.999); // 10

Um... don't you mean RTFM?

treds, if you did RTFM, I'm sure you DID look up round(), right? On that page, and almost every page in the manual, there is a section that says "see also..." In this case, you will find "See also ceil() and floor()." Perhaps more than a cursory glance at the round function would have revealed that, huh? 😉

I'm not trying to be an ass about this... just be aware that if PHP can do it, it is most likely in the manual. The manual is not hard to search, and there are many cross-reference links to help you find what you are looking for. Just try to learn how to use them.
