I've used longblob to store information from a textarea on a forum
but for some reason if I make a big'ish post it wont save the information, whats the largest text storage with mysql?
Thanks

do you have the field limited at all, can we see a screeny of your table
My textarea:
echo "<form action='ad_newsed.php' method='POST'>"; echo "Title:<BR><input type='text' $formc name='title' size='80'><BR><BR>"; echo "News:<BR><TEXTAREA COLS='114' ROWS='16' WRAP='hard' $formc NAME='post'></TEXTAREA><BR><BR>"; echo "<input type='submit' value='Add News'>"; echo " <a href='admin.php'>Back to Admin</a>";
My record to table:
$sql = "INSERT INTO " . "news" . " VALUES('','$user', '$date', '$sdate', '" . addslashes($POST['title']) . "', '" . addslashes($POST['post']) . "')";
Pic of mysql:

yes tried longtext no luck there either, I'll keep trying I'll let you know if I get sorted..
