Script that will post data to another page

I need to write a script that will send data to a url [post]. The url is password protected so it would also need to send login information in the header I would guess. If anyone knows how to do this or can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

I believe you can use the Header command to send post variables. See what this guy did:
