getting server IP address

hi there maybe someone else know or tried this

i have a client where in they have an xDSL connection and im not connected to them so i just want to hookup to the server and do some fixing coz i do even have to root access but xDSL connection have a dynamic IP so i cant get the IP address always specially when i need to upload or change something from the server.

so what i am trying to do is maybe if i cant make a script where in it will going to send an email to me with the IP address

do u think this can be done?
