i am new to PHP, and have been working with it for the past month. what i am stuck on is this - i have a directory where files are uploaded and their name tells what kind of file they are. i need to somehow go through the directory, determine which files fit a users specifications, and then display them as links.
can go through the directory and somehow put the file names in variables? if not, is there some other way what im trying to accomplish can be done...thanks, any help is appreciated.
