Deleting a cookie?

I know this is a retarted question but i couldn't seem to find in the manual how to delete a cookie.

You'll need to change this to your cookies name

setcookie("yourcookiename","",time()-500); //must set time in past

Ive found if you dont make the time set in the past, there cookie still exists when they get returned to that page.
