getimagesize error!

Nearing the end of my site and I've run into yet another snag. I am such a PHP noob.

When using

$size = GetImageSize("http://mysite.com/image.jpg");

I get:

Warning: getimagesize: Unable to open 'http://shawazi.addr.com/Art/DigArt/Ddark/vestibule.jpg' for reading. in /usr163/home/s/h/shawazi/public_html/viewart.php on line 11

I am using $size[3] in a window open so the window will open the exact size of the image.

Are you sure that you have enough permissions for that file? I mean do you have read permission? Why don't ya put it in your own comp and see if you can read it, then you can be sure that whatever is wrong, it's with your server and most probably wrong permissions.

There is a stupid bug I found out...
you can't do [url]http://[/url]
so I just started from Art/
/Art/ would be no good either. Problem solved! Oh and since my height and width were in an echo in javascript i used size[0] and size[1] cause 3 would just give an error since it would have double quotes and no comma inbetween length and width.

Good, congradulations! But are you sure that we can not use [url]http://[/url] in it? Well, it's not that cool!

I've read elsewhere that you were unable to use [url]http://[/url] after a recent version of php... it's not that bad. You can always just change base href.
