"Send this page to a friend" thingys?

Also, I'm building my site in DW - how do I make a conact form that sends the information to me on submit?

Judging by the amount of junk mail my friends send me because the page was "cute", I would say yes, people do use them, if the content is right. 😉

This has been done a million times. Go to www.hotscripts.com, and you should be able to find something pretty easily.

This would be quite easy to code. All you need to do is link to a page with a form. In the form you have one textfield and a submit button. Upon submit you simply send the friend a text email with some text describing why they got this email Then, tack on the URL the user wants to send to a friend. That can be had with getenv("HTTP_REFERER"); It's not difficult at all.
