Little Problems

Hi everybody...

I am new to programing in PHP

I tried to create a little search program the will search in a certian database...

I'll try breifly descripe what I've done so far...

first :
I create an HTML page that will send using the post method the string that you want to search about and the number of results per page... this information will be passed to another PHP page that will chech wether the string exists in the database or not... if is not exists it will diplay an error page ... or if it is exists ... it will send the nifomation to another page which will display the results for the user...

The Problem That I have faced:
1-If there is no result... I want the error page apper for a short time and the user automatically directed to the main page...

2-in the result page the first page will apper correctly with the same number of results ... but once I click next... the next page won't be displayd...or it will diplayed but the results that I've is not waht I've search about....

One. HTML has a META Refresh tag (I understand you can also use a header, but the refresh tag is there anyway). Search the forums for "meta refresh" should get you more info, or any decent HTML reference.

Two. Can't help without seeing relevant code (after you've searched on, e.g. "pagination").
