dynamic select

hi

i need a to create a dynamic selection box in a form. the values would be maximum 5, and frequently will be changed(but max only 5), so using db for this a overkill.:o

i know it can be done in javasript using arrays, but can't figure it out.😕 baisally my client will edit the text in the external .js file an it will get reflected in the forms page.

and the <options> will run a loop and populate the <select>.

can any guys help me out.

You need to select relevent fileds from db using select statement then use a while($myRow=mysql_fetch_array($result) loop to put values into select

eg.

    while($myRow=mysql_fetch_array($result))
    {
       $id=$myRow['id'];
       $name=$myRow['name'];

       echo "<option value=\"$id\">$name</option>";
   }
