Can't show php file on Netscape 7

Whenever I try to get a php page to show up in netscape 7 it gives me a message saying it doesn't know what to do with this file, should it download it or open it.

I click on open it and it uses my dreamweaver to do so.

I have it on a windows server, and there is no php code on this page. The only reason we have it named .php is because the client needs it that when we transfer it to their UNIX box.

It works in IE too...I guess Netscape needs it to be on a UNIX box before it knows what to do with it? Even though there is no PHP code on the page?

Actually, you need the PHP code to run on a webserver that supports PHP.

So php isn't like ASP in the fact I don't need asp code on the page to display it. I thought making it .php just tells the server to look for php to render, and if none is found display the html?

Works in IE though, brings up the page fine....
