Hi everyone. I'm coding an online game but I have a problem.

In the game is gonna be two players: A and B. The game is based on turns, so I'd like to know if there's any way of update the page of B when the turn of the player A has finished.

but the header cannot be preceeded by any output

No. PHP has no way of getting input from another webpage once it's displayed and "done".

What you would probably need to do is set up your game with a large FRAME at the top for the game board and controls and a small almost invisible FRAME at the bottom which refreshes every 5 seconds and checks a file on the server to see if the other player has gone yet. If so, then the whole screen would reload and display the updated playing board.
