in some cases popups are required. and there isnt a way to disable popup killers - if there was then all advertisers would use it.
anyways - an easy way to test if there is a popup killer is to try to pop open a window.
in the window you open, set a value in a hidden text field (on the original page - not the popup) to a value of "OPENED". then make it close itself.
then have your original script check the text box (after about 5-10 seconds - that way it gives it time if the computer is slow) and if it has a value of OPENED then there is not popup killer, otherwise there is (providing there are no errors).
Then just have it display an error on the page saying "This page requires a popup to be displayed. Please disable your popup killer."
Now obviously, its still up to the user - if they dont trust your site, chances are they'll just leave - so dont advertise or popup spam using this method!!!
Chances are I'll be flamed for this post but it doesnt disable or interfere with popup killers, it just detects them. Also, I have been to some sites (I think fileplanet is one of them) that use popups for downloads or some other wanted material - with a popup killer, often the user didnt even realise that they had missed the content and just thaught the site was busted.
