Just for interest sake, does anybody know, whats the most records a mysql db can hold for anyone of the versions.

It is probably a matter of the OS's filesystem, some UNIX systems have a 2GB limit on files. If you have a table that has 1KB table row, you can have 2,000,000 records. This is probably more than the average website would have.
