I'm sure this has been asked before, but I did not find what I was looking for by searching (not sure I was searching with correct terminology anyway)
I'll be handling a site that will use a mySQL database with a number of tables and values that will be updated fairly frequently (say, once a week for some, others once a day).
Is there a relatively easy way to generate a new HTML page based off a php template whenever a new update has been made to the database? I want to keep the load on the database server down because I don't think it could handle the constant requests on every page - cost is very much a concern, but it is also crucial that this information be updated quickly and easily by the staff who will maintain it.
Any suggestions or recommendations would be wonderful. I think I'm actually starting to enjoy php  Oh, what would my art and design teachers think?
